Cambridge Commodities take on Everest for ACT

Throughout April we challenged the team at Cambridge Commodities to walk, run, cycle, hop, skip and jump 8,849m – the equivalent elevation of Mount Everest.

In groups of six, our team tracked their elevation gain throughout April in a race to see who could reach 8,849m first. We are really proud of our team for taking on this challenge and raising an incredible £930 for ACT!

Who is ACT?

Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) is the only registered charity (no 1170103) dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care across Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals. Whether it's treatment for an emergency, acute condition, pregnancy or long-term illness, ACT believe that every patient deserves the highest quality of care available and through fundraising we know we can help them make a difference.

As a local hospital, ACT has touched many lives here at CC and we are proud to continue supporting ACT as our charity of the year for the third year running.
