What is Calmaluma™?
Calmaluma™ is a standardised extract of Caralluma Fimbriata, Gencor’s proprietary and patented Caralluma Fimbriata extract.
Caralluma Fimbriata is a succulent plant with long-standing use as food in India. Calmaluma™ was developed by Gencor in 2001. The cactus was often eaten by local tribes-people to ward off hunger while hunting in the forests. With rigorous research, Gencor™ established CFE's mechanisms in-vitro and in-vivo and its influence on receptors involved in mood regulation.
Suitable applications:
Calmaluma™ appears as a brown powder with high solubility in water (90%). In addition, Calmaluma™ Caralluma Fimbriata extract can be used in many formats from RTM powder and functional beverages to capsules, tablets and gels with its excellent safety and efficacy profile.
