Seagreens® has been harvesting the most nutritious, native species of seaweed for 20 years at five remote locations in the British Isles and Nordic region.

Ascophyllum nodosum (also known as knotted wrack) is a species of red, green and brown seaweed. It can add nutrient density and health benefits to a wide variety of nutrition and food products.

Studies show that Ascophyllum can be utilised in food manufacturing as a potent salt substitute. The granules can also be added to powder blends, smoothies, bakery products or for sprinkling in cooking.
