One of the five phospholipids which are needed for the structure and good functioning of all the bodys cells.

PS has some unique functions, it regulates the state of key proteins in cell membranes, facilitates membrane-to-membrane fusion and activates the receptors on cell surfaces which help the cell to respond to chemical messengers.

A number of trials have succesfully used PS against age-related reductions in memory, learning and concentration.
